Project Profile of the Local Evaluation and Prospective Studies of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

In September 2015, at a historic United Nations summit, world leaders adopted the Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which came into effect on 1 January 2016, covering 17 SDGs. China attaches great importance to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and has incorporated the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development into its 13th Five-Year Plan, realising the organic integration of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with the country's medium- and long-term development plans.

Based on the full consultation between WWF-Switzerland Beijing and TUSDG are collaborating on a project entitled "Local Evaluation and Prospective Study of the SDGs", which aims to study the coordination between China and the implementation of the SDGs, as well as the challenges of localized implementation of the SDGs in China.
