On October 19, 2023, jointly hosted by Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University (TUSDG) and Center for Industrial Development and Environmental Governance (CIDEG) of Tsinghua University, and supported by the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative (C2G), the 4th Carbon-Neutral Think Thanks Forum - The Global Dialogue on Climate Cooperation and Governance is successfully held.

Xue Lan, TUSDG Director, Co-Chair of CIDEG Academic Committee, and Dean of Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University, delivered the opening speech. Thelma Krug, Vice-Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), made the introductory remarks. Huang Jing, Director of the Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21, delivered the keynote speech. Dirk Messner, President of the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA), Cheikh Ndiaye Sylla, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Senegal, Jo Tyndall, Director of the Environment Directorate of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Felix Wertli, Ambassador for the Environment of Switzerland and Head of International Affairs at the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOE), and Chen Ying, Deputy Director and Researcher of Research Centre for Sustainable Development of Chinese Academy of Social Science, Janos Pasztor, Executive Director of Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative, and other renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad attended the event to have an in-depth discussion on Solar Radiation Intervention (SRM) technology, global climate cooperation and governance. Zhu Xufeng, Executive Director of TUSDG, Dean and Professor of School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University, chaired the forum.
