On 19 August, the final round of the 2023 Tsinghua International Case Analysis Competition of Public Policy on SDGs was successfully held online. The competition was co-organized by the China Case Center for Public Policy & Management (CCCPPM) of the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SPPM) and the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University (TUSDG), supported by JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd.

Since its launch in May, the competition has attracted a total of 190 participants from 56 teams from 51 institutions in China, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, South Korea and Vietnam. The participating teams chose topics around the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, analyzed sustainable development cases from the perspective of public policy, conducted field research and reports. After more than four months of preparation and two rounds of professional judging, a total of 13 undergraduate teams and 6 postgraudate teams entered the finals.

The final round for the postgraduate participants was held in the morning of the 19th, and the judges were Associate Professor Li Yingbo, Associate Professor Chen Jidong, and Associate Professor Gui Tianhan from Tsinghua SPPM.

The award ceremony of the competition was held afterward. Inviting guests Zhu Xufeng, Dean of Tsinghua SPPM and Executive Director of TUSDG, Sun Guangbin, Senior Vice President of JA Solar, Mu Ling, Assistant to the Dean of Tsinghua SPPM and Director of CCCPPM, and the judges Associate Prof. Li Yingbo and Associate Prof. Chen Jidong as well as all the participants attended the award ceremony on-line and off-line.
