On the morning of 13 December 2017, the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals, Tsinghua University(Tsinghua SDG Institute) held a regular work conference with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Patrick Haverman, UNDP Country Deputy Director in China; Li Ming, Project Manager of UNDP China; Ge Cheng, Assistant to the Deputy Director of UNDP China; Xue Lan, Professor of School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University(SPPM) and Director of Tsinghua SDG Institute; Zhu Xufeng, Professor of SPPM and Executive Director of Tsinghua SDG Institute; Yang Yongheng, Professor of SPPM and Management Committee Member of Tsinghua SDG Institute; Gao Yuning, Associate Professor of SPPM; Secretary General of Tsinghua Public Administration Alumni Association and Director of the Alumni Office, Zhang Xiuji, etc. attended the meeting.
Since the cooperation between Tsinghua SDG Institute and UNDP was established, both have made more progress in the field of SDGs. This meeting mainly introduced the current progress of implementing the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) and discussed the future work arrangement in the area of SDGs landing and related research projects. On the basis of summarising the previous work, the meeting clarified the cooperation matters in the future, laying a solid foundation for futher in-depth cooperation.
