On the afternoon of 6 May, Frank Jotzo, Professor, Director of the Centre for Climate and Energy Policy and Director of the Asia-Pacific Centre for Zero Carbon Energy Initiative at the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy, Howard Bamsey, Honorary Professor, ANU School of Regulation and Global Governance, and Board Member, Climate Policy Initiative and Climate Works Centre, and Jorrit Gosens, Senior Lecturer of the Crawford School of Public Policy, visited Tsinghua University's School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) and had a discussion with representatives of SPPM faculty. Qi Ye, Professor of SPPM, Chen Ling, Director of the Research Centre for Industrial Development and Environmental Governance of Tsinghua University and Professor of SPPM, Zheng Yi, Head of Office of TUSDG, and Shi Shuting, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchanges and Cooperation of Tsinghua University and related staff attended the seminar, and both sides had in-depth exchanges on topics related to climate change, green development, and energy economy, and so on. The symposium was hosted by Shuting Shi.

During the exchange session, Howard Bamsey and Jorrit Gosens made speeches respectively, affirming China's efforts in addressing climate change and the energy crisis, and hoping that the two sides can actively cooperate in the future to contribute to the promotion of global climate change and energy governance as well as the sustainable development of mankind.
