Successful Convening of the Ninth International Development and Global Governance Forum and Global Sustainable Development Seminar
On 27 April, the 9th International Development and Global Governance Forum and Global Sustainable Development Seminar was held at School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua Univeristy (hereinafter referred to as ‘SPMM’). Under the theme of ‘Global Development Initiatives for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals’, the conference was jointly organised by the Institute of International Development and Global Governance of SPMM and TUSDG, in collaboration with the China & World Economy and the Global Public Policy and Governance. The conference invited a number of key academic experts and scholars to deliver keynote speeches and conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges around the topics. Meanwhile, the sub-forum invited nearly ten young and middle-aged scholars to discuss the interaction between global development initiatives and the SDGs under the themes of ‘Global Development Initiatives for Sustainable Development Goals’ and ‘Global Development Initiatives in the Context of Sustainable Development’to discuss the interaction between global development initiatives and the SDGs and present their insights.
