Digital Leadership Academy Training Program for the Ministry of Communication of Indonesia was successfully held.
From October 25 to November 4, 2021, the “Digital Leadership Academy (DLA) - Digital Business and Digital Transformation” training program was successfully held by the Ministry of Communications of Indonesia and Tsinghua School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM), and organized by the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SDG Institute) and Cadre Education Center of SPPM.
The DLA training program is a joint effort between the Ministry of Communications and Tsinghua University, Harvard University, Oxford University, and the National University of Singapore (NUS), which are renowned universities in China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, with the aim of improving the capacity of top leaders in Indonesia's political, business, and academic sectors in the digital era. The program covers the four themes of “Digital Transformation of Smart Cities, Digital Business and Digital Transformation, Digital Transformation of Government, and Digital Transformation of Policy and Practice” and is held in four phases. The second phase of the DLA training program - Digital Business and Digital Transformation - was held at SPPM for a period of two weeks, with a total of 110 senior leaders from the Ministry of Communications, the Indonesian Parliament, Indonesian universities, and renowned enterprises participating in the program.
As a newly established overseas high-end talent training program of SPPM in 2021, DLA training program is an important part of the SPPM's efforts to expand its global cooperation map and strengthen the capacity building of internationalized talents, and it also fully reflects the School's important mission to enhance the competence and quality of international talents based on the new pattern of global development and governance.
