TUSDG Appoints Andrew N. Liveris, Former Chairman and CEO of The Dow Chemical Company, as an International Advisory Board Member
On January 22, 2020, Mr. Andrew N. Liveris, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Dow Chemical Company, was formally appointed as an International Advisory Committee Member by the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals, Tsinghua University(Tsinghua SDG Institute /TUSDG) for a term of three years in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of sustainable development. Yang Bin, Vice President and Provost of Tsinghua University and Chairman of TUSDG, presented the appointment letter to him in Davos, Switzerland.

Andrew N. Liveris is the former chairman and chief executive officer of The Dow Chemical Company and a former director and executive chairman of Dow DuPont.
In addition to his work at Dow, Liveris has extensive experience and expertise in the business, government, academic and non-profit sectors. He is a member of the Board of Directors of IBM, Vice Chairman of the Business Roundtable, a member of the Executive Committee and past Chairman of the U.S. Business Council, as well as a member of the U.S. President's Export Council and a member of the Advisory Board of the Australian Government's Center for Industrial Development, and a member of the Boards of Directors of the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation, the California Institute of Technology and the U.S. Council for International Business. In addition, he was appointed to White House advisory panels under the Obama and Trump administrations.
