Visit by Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Chairman of the TUSDG International Academic Committee
On the afternoon of 27 March 2018, Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Professor of Economics and Director of the Institute of Geosciences at Columbia University, Senior Advisor to the United Nations Secretary General, and Chairman of the International Academic Committee of the Institute of Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University (TUSDG), visited and held a working meeting with TUSDG faculty at Tsinghua University's School of Public Policy & Management (SPPM) conference room. Dr. Sonia Sachs, Professor Xue Lan, Dean of SPPM and Director of TUSDG, Professor Poon Kit, Professor Zhu Xufeng, Associate Professor Zhou Shaojie, Assistant Professor Zhu Junming and Postdoctoral Fellow Guan Ting attended the meeting, which was moderated by Professor Zhu Xufeng, Associate Dean of SPPM and Executive Director of TUSDG.

The Meeting Scene
Since Professor Jeffrey Sachs' visit to Tsinghua in November last year, TUSDG has made a lot of progress in its work. In this working meeting, Professor Zhu Xufeng reported to Professor Jeffrey Sachs on the recent work results and the later planning, and both sides had an in-depth discussion on the future direction of the development of the two sides and other specific issues.
