Tsinghua SDG Institute Representatives Attend the ESG and Sustainability Development Leadership Theme Event at the 8th China International Import Expo
On November 7th, the supporting event of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), "Seizing New Opportunities, Creating New Value—2025 ESG and Sustainability Development Leadership Theme Event," was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Having been held for three consecutive editions, this event has generated significant impact and has been recognized as one of the Top 30 influential activities of the CIIE. This year's event was jointly organized by the Shanghai Service Industries Development & Research Foundation, the Shanghai Pudong New Area Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, and China Sustainability Tribune. It received support from the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce, the Hongqiao Overseas Trade Center, and the Green Finance Forum of 60. Tian Xiaohong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Service Industries Development & Research Foundation, moderated the event. Zhu Xufeng, Professor & Dean of the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University and Executive Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SDG Institute), attended and delivered a speech. Zheng Yi, Network Manager of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) China Hub and the Head of Office of the Tsinghua SDG Institute, attended and moderated a panel discussion.

At the meantime, Shanghai Service Industries Development & Research Foundation, Shanghai Pudong New Area Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, China Sustainability Tribune, Tsinghua SDG Institute and SDSN China Hub, jointly launched the "Co-action Mechanism for Sustainable Development Solutions" at the event, aiming to integrate the research capabilities of think tanks, the dissemination power of the media, the thousands of outstanding corporate SDG practices on the GoldenKey platform, and the important resources of funding and technical support providers. This mechanism seeks to achieve efficient collaboration and expand its overall impact.
