Tsinghua SDG Institute 2025 Annual Board of Directors Meeting was Successful Held

On December 30, 2025, the 2025 Board of Directors Meeting of Institute for Sustainable Global Development of Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SDG Institute) was successfully held online. 

Yang Bin, Director of the Board of Directors of Tsinghua SDG Institute and Vice-chancellor of the University Council, Tsinghua University;Member of Board of Directors: Peng Zongchao, Secretary of the CPC Committee, and Professor, School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University; Liu Shuming, Dean & Professor, School of Environment, Tsinghua Univeristy;Yang Yongheng, Director of the Think Tank Research Center, Director of the Office of Art, Humanities and Social Sciences Administration, Tsinghua University and Professor, School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University. Xue Lan, Dean, Schwartzman College, Tsinghua University, Professor, School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, Director, Tsinghua SDG Institute. And management team: Zhu Xufeng, Dean & Professor, School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, Executive Director of Tsinghua SDG Institute;Wang Can, Chair of School Council & Professor, School of Environment, Tsinghua University, Vice Director of Tsinghua SDG Institute. The meeting was moderated by Zhu Junming, Associate Dean & Associate Professor, School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, Vice Director of Tsinghua SDG Institute and so on attended the meeting.

At this meeting, the Institute's key progress achieved throughout 2025 was comprehensively reviewed. The members of Board of Directors recognized the Institute's work over the past year and unanimously approved the relevant agenda items. Furthermore, the members engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the Institute’s long-term development trajectory, offering multiple guiding opinions. They expressed the hope that, while deepening collaborations both within and outside the university, the Institute will more proactively integrate into international exchange networks. With a forward-looking vision, they also encouraged the Institute to focus on international development pathways in the post-2030 sustainable development agenda era and to layout strategic research initiatives accordingly.
