TUSDG launches the Chinese Translation of Accelerating Education for the SDGs in Universities Guide
Accelerating Education for the SDGs in Universities Guide was released by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) on September 21, 2020, and translated into Chinese by Zheng Yi of the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals, Tsinghua University (TUSDG) in the same year. As SDSN’s China Hub, TUSDG is committed to promoting the implementation of the SDGs in China and international exchange.
We have less than a decade left before the deadline of achieving the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2030. By implementing and promoting Education for Sustainable Development Goals (ESDGs) in the higher education system, universities can contribute to the SDGs in terms of talent training and scientific research. Meanwhile, universities can look ahead to 2050 and beyond to nurture a new generation for the future.
Building onGetting Started with the SDGs in Universities published in 2017, theGuide provides effective guidance, practical resources, and relevant case studies for higher education institutions in implementing ESDGs, inspiring universities to take actions.
